Eric Clapton Announces 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival
Written by vintage on February 13, 2010 – 5:03 am -During an exclusive interview announcing his third Crossroads Guitar Festival, Eric Clapton says “I do it because I want to hear these players”, The all-day stars-of-guitar show will be held on June 26th at Toyota Park in Chicago; tickets go on sale February 20th. They don’t have a clear idea what their antique guitar is worth? Or even the age? Or where to look to find out this information or even the value of the information they find. Take this checklist with you when shopping, and you’ll be a few steps ahead of the game. 1) If possible, play your own guitar through it. You want to be in familiar territory to judge an amp objectively, and it’s difficult to assess an amp’s suitability if you’re testing it with an unfamiliar instrument.
